Maarud AS, part of Europe’s largest snack producer, Intersnack Group, is looking for a strategic and results-driven leader for the role of Head of Business Control. With iconic brands such as Maarud, Estrella, and Taffel, our Nordic division is a key contributor to Intersnack’s success, producing over 60 million snack bags annually for discerning consumers across the region.

In this senior role, you will lead our controlling function across the Nordics, driving financial strategy, supporting decision-making, and ensuring sustainable growth in a dynamic and competitive market. Reporting to the Nordic Managing Director Finance & IT, you will work closely with the leadership teams in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, shaping the future of our beloved brands.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Nordic business controlling function with a focus on process optimization and strategic decision support.
• Act as a trusted partner to the Nordic leadership team, providing insight-driven analyses to support sustainable growth.
• Develop and oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Initiate and lead cross-functional improvement projects within the Nordics and in collaboration with Intersnack’s European HQ.
• Drive performance management and ensure alignment with business goals.

We Are Looking for Someone Who

• Holds a master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Has a proven track record in business controlling or financial consulting, preferably from complex organizations or production industries.
• Brings leadership experience and excels in managing diverse teams across geographies.
• Has a strategic mindset with the ability to balance high-level goals with operational execution.
• Is experienced in change management and building structures that drive results.
• Communicates fluently in English (proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus).
