FLEX has been through a significant growth phase and has strong ambitions to further develop its position as the leading listed LNG transportation company. FLEX is therefore looking to strengthen the team with an ambitious, hard-working person with a strong quantitative background from investment banking or a transaction-oriented environment. You will be part of a small team based in Oslo offering a very exciting working environment in a global setting.
Key Responsibilities
- perform financial analysis and modelling
- market research and commercial analysis
- prepare and present investment opportunities to the management and board
- investor relation contact and broader relationship with banks and financial institutions
- treasury and cash management
Desired Background and Qualifications
- excellent academic results from a leading institution, preferably a MSc
- 3-5 years of relevant experience from investment banking or other finance related position
- experience from shipping and financial analysis is an advantage, but not a requirement
- solid Microsoft Office skills, especially within Excel and PowerPoint
- experience in cash flow modelling and analysis
- fluent in English. Fluency in other languages, including Norwegian, is an advantage, but not required.
Desired Personal Skills
The right candidate is commercially aware and has an analytical mindset. You are comfortable working independently, as well as in teams. A general interest and drive for investing and creating value is key. You appear dedicated, highly motivated and confident, and your communication skills are excellent.
The position is reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and will work closely with the commercial team in Oslo and financial team in London.
